Important Notice
SocialSnap respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and promptly respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement.
DMCA Compliance
SocialSnap is an online service provider as defined in the DMCA. We provide legitimate services that allow users to download publicly available content from various social media platforms.
We do not host any content on our servers. We simply provide tools to access content that is already publicly available on the internet.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible through SocialSnap, please notify us by providing the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: Provide a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the infringing material: Provide the exact URL(s) where the allegedly infringing material is located
- Contact information: Your address, telephone number, and email address
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- Accuracy statement: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed content
- Statement under penalty of perjury of good faith belief of removal mistake
- Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction

Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, SocialSnap has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
We may also at our sole discretion limit access to the service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
Response Time
We typically respond to DMCA notices within 7-10 business days. Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the user who posted the content
- Take appropriate action based on our policies
False Claims Warning
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability. Please ensure your claim is valid before submitting a DMCA notice.
